Frequently asked questions

All customers may be eligible for the TD Student Chequing Account but requirements vary based on the age of the applicant. Until age 23, customers can enjoy the TD Student Chequing account without any proof of enrollment at a post secondary institution. Customers who are 23+ years old will need to provide proof of enrollment in full-time post-secondary education.

Proof of enrollment must be a document that is issued by the school and contain the student's name, the name of the University or College, program and year of study. Example: A letter on school letterhead signed or stamped by the school, or a copy of the tuition bill.
